We have entered into one of the most exciting Seasons for the Body of Jesus Christ and the Kingdom of God,

As I informed you on yesterday, I will be providing messages of direction and inspiration during this period.  This is Day One of the Lenten Season, denoted as Ash Wednesday.  I pray that this day finds each of us AWARE of the things we say and/or do and that our lives reflect and regard the IMAGE of our Savior, Jesus, the Christ.  Let’s bring clarity to His image by being true to our God, and true to ourselves. C.S. Lewis says It may be hard for an egg to turn into a bird: it would be a jolly sight harder for it to learn to fly while remaining an egg. We are like eggs at present.  And you cannot go on indefinitely being just an ordinary, decent egg. We must be hatched or go bad.

In short, we can’t learn to fly by remaining an egg, and as we enter into this Lenten Season, I submit that we’re entering into a place where we can break out of the shell, spread our wings, and jump free from the confines of the nest. After all, if we don’t hatch, sooner or later, life will start to feel and smell pretty rotten.

Paul in Romans 12:1-2 declares I beseech you therefore brethren by, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies as living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of you mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

The Lord desire that your transforming capability carries you HIGHER than your circumstances and challenges. Paul says in this passage that this power occurs literally in our minds. We must THINK ourselves into our destiny. A renewed mind allows individuals to think yourself healthy, think yourself wealthy, think yourself happy, think yourself delivered and think yourself victorious. Your transforming thoughts changes your world, shifts your atmosphere, and causes you to triumph in ALL THINGS.  It is time for the Body of Christ to literally change environments so that the culture and the community that we find ourselves in begin to emanate and reflect the glory of God that lives on the inside of us. You are indeed a transformative figure in the things of God.  You and I are simply walking, breathing transformers – energy conductors converting energy from one form into another. This is how energy is generated and ultimately how the process of creation occurs. 

Paul says in 2 Cor. 5:17 AMP, Therefore if ANY person is [ingrafted] in Christ (the Messiah) he is a new creation (a new creature altogether); the old [previous moral and spiritual condition] has passed away. Behold, the fresh and new has come.

And so the transformation begins. As soon as you are “born again” by the Spirit of God, a new life begins – a new journey of discovering and becoming your truest, most authentic self. Your divine self, created in God’s image, infused with His very nature (See Peter 1:4). You have been seeded with the life of Christ by God’s own Spirit, and as that life germinates within you, you become less of your former self and more of your divine, authentic self – you begin the metamorphosis of being changed from one degree of glory to another. As Paul wrote, you “are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord (2 Cor. 3:18 NKJV).  The MSG says it like this: “Our lives gradually becoming brighter and more beautiful as God enters our lives and we become like Him.”

Today, begin your trek this Lenten Season by Transforming. Truth be spoken, things are NO LONGER the same!
