John 21:14 – And the blind and the lame came to him in the temple; and he healed them.
Romans 8:11 - And if the Spirit of Him Who raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, [then] He Who raised up Christ Jesus from the dead will also restore to life your mortal (short-lived, perishable) bodies through His Spirit Who dwells in you.
Resurrection Sunday week, what a significant time in the Body of the Christ. A time of gratification and a time of glorification because our Savior victoriously won over death and the grave.
It is because of that I am so very excited about what the Lord has released in this Season. Even during the week of His crucifixion He operated in His authority by healing those with divers issues. And the passage says that Jesus healed them. The base word for healed in the Greek is theros and it means, in short, summer. Summer speaks of a time of heat, warmth, and in this context it speaks of restoring to health. Jesus had the capacity and the ability to restore health. When something has been restored that means that it returns to its original state or position. And so Jesus basically created an atmosphere that was conducive and intensive enough that whatever was needed in the atmosphere would return to its original state and in some instance beyond it. So everyone that came to Him in the temple were juxtapositioned to their circumstances, in other words, their situation changed or was turned around because He had the ability to change their winter into summer! He had the ability to HEAL them.
I’ve got to SHIFT the scenes some, so watch this, He was so powerful and prolific that after they crucified/killed Him, three days later He was raised from the dead. His theros was so potent in operation that even death could not contain Him. He was resurrected from the dead. He was made alive again. And Paul picked upon on this theme when He said that that same ability, authority, anointing, mantle, SPIRIT, DWELLS in YOU. If you have received sonship in Him; if you have accepted Him as your Lord and Savior, then you have the same capability and capacity that He had. I submit that there are things that we, as Children in the Kingdom of God, can also achieve and accomplish because the pneuma (breath) of God; the power of God, LIVES in me. In Christ, you can turn winter into summer; trouble into triumph; hell into hello; stretch into strength. There is, in fact, nothing too hard for God. And so whatever you’re facing, dealing with, or struggling with, I submit that the same power that raised Jesus from the dead, is available to raise you from any dead situation, including sickness, depression and poverty.
This is your Season to acknowledge that the Power of God is operating within you and that which is waged against you, don’t stand a chance.
Happy Holy Week and Resurrection Sunday and many blessings on your LIFE of VICTORY!!!!
