Supernatural Living
The past few months I’ve been dealing with this topic/theme of supernatural living. In this particular realm of study, the revelation is that everything that we, who are the sons of God, need in order to prosper is already done. If we believe in Him, He has already given us access to the abundant life or supernatural living. In the study passage today, we find where Lazarus has died and his sisters are mourning at his transition and in discussions with Martha, Jesus informed her that He is the resurrection and the life. The word “resurrection” in the Greek literally means, a raising up, rising. That alone is a point for a shout. Martha says to Jesus, I know my brother shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day and Jesus says, He doesn’t have to wait until then (the last day), because I am that now. I am, in essence, the fulfillment of a rising. It is critical to understand that we don’t have to remain in a dead and done state, but that in Christ, we have the ability to be lifted, raised to another level of living. Jesus says I’m the raising up and I am the life. In short He’s saying that in Me you can rise up and LIVE. In Christ, there is no situation that can hold me down and keep me under. He tells Martha I am the LIFTER of LIFE and the one that believes in Me, though he were dead, yet shall he live. That is indeed Supernatural Living and it requires a supernatural trust/belief in Christ to fully grasp the concept – that if I have faith in Christ, though things appear dead, I see life. For some reading this blog, in the midst of dead things you have to trust that in Christ you can live again. When finances, health, relationships appear dead, Christ can make alive again.
Finally, He says WHOSOEVER lives and believes in me, shall NEVER die. At the end of the day, our faith causes the most difficult and dead situation to come alive again. God can do it, but even more critical than that, He has already done it. I submit that a supernatural life is one that lives abundantly in Christ and if we live in Christ, we will never die. How incredible is that? Today, CHOOSE the SUPERNATURAL LIFE in FAITH!!
